Last month, Chalmers partnered with True Charity to share a framework for effective generosity in a joint webinar: Helping Without Hurting in Generosity: A Donor’s Guide to Effective Giving.

Christians are often encouraged to give generously from what God has blessed us with. There are a lot of resources available on why we give (a theology of generosity), and on how to give through various financial instruments, but relatively few on where to give. 

We’re not interested in telling anyone which specific ministries they should or shouldn’t support. Rather, we explore a framework for understanding who God has created humans to be, how ministries can lean into that design, and how givers can identify and encourage transformational outcomes for poverty alleviation ministries that operate from God’s story of change.
