Shay Bassett
Director of Work Life Program
Shay Bassett is the Work Life Program Director at the Chalmers Center. Over the past 20 years, Shay has served in various capacities with nonprofit organizations that focus on job readiness and community development. Shay leads a team of coaches who are involved in equipping ministry leaders to implement Chalmers’ Work Life job readiness curriculum. She also loves cultivating relationships, affirming and encouraging individuals in economically challenged communities. She’s helped equip ministry leaders both nationally and internationally. When Shay isn’t equipping leaders, she and her husband John enjoy traveling and loving their three children and five precious grandchildren.
