Luis oversees the organization’s existing products and all aspects of the product design lifecycle through the products team. This includes identifying opportunities to scale existing products, developing organizational processes to support growth, and efficiently coordinating across functional areas. In addition to scaling existing products, he and his team identify and recommend strategic opportunities that align with the organization’s mission to the executive leadership.

Luis has more than 30 years of experience in international relief and development starting in his country of birth, Bolivia. Over the course of his career, he has had executive leadership roles in the international nonprofit sector overseeing programs and operations in Africa, Asia, Latin America and the Caribbean, and the Pacific. Before joining Chalmers, he worked for Habitat for Humanity International overseeing global program effectiveness. Luis has solid experience overseeing large multidisciplinary projects in sectors like livelihoods, food security, public health, education, housing and emergency responses.
