Emily Mugisha
Director of Majority World Economic Development Programs
Emily Mugisha received her BA in Community Development from Covenant College. She began her career in international development after graduating, starting with a local community development organization in Rwanda before joining World Relief, first as a Church Engagement Coordinator and then as a Regional Program Advisor for World Relief’s savings program. Her work causes her to travel frequently to east, central, and southern African countries to support the savings programs there. Emily also faithfully served on the board of the Chalmers Center for 8 years. Emily has an M.A. in International Development from Eastern University. She lives in Kigali, Rwanda with her husband and three children.
