Larry Hodges

Larry says that being a financial advisor financial with Merrill Lynch and having devoted all of his community and ministry service endeavors towards financial literacy made the Chalmers’ curriculum a logical ministry next step. He can truly empathize with the less fortunate who are experiencing the effects of poverty and financial illiteracy. He goes on to say that he too suffered from the effects of poverty.

Trained as a Faith & Finances facilitator in 2013 and certified as a trainer in 2014, Larry is thankful and believes the responsibility of faithful stewardship, thus he gives back and serves in the Faith and Finances ministry. The Fresno Team has trained over 70 facilitators. Larry’s dream is to expand the faith and finances curriculum to partner with the Celebrate Recovery Ministry at NorthPointe Community Church in Fresno where he and his family worships and serves. It is his firm belief and prayer that this biblically based curriculum and effective training is transforming his community.
