Jamie Gross

Director of Finance & Administration

Jamie holds a bachelor of science degree in Accounting from Westminster College (Pennsylvania) and is a licensed CPA in the state of Tennessee.  Additionally, he has also received two not-for-profit certificates from the Association of International CPAs.

Jamie was exposed to not-for-profits as a financial statement auditor, which ultimately led him to pursue a career in internal management accounting and finance for not-for-profit entities.  Most notably he spent nearly six years in Christian higher ed at both the Controller and CFO level before joining The Chalmers Center.  He has also served multiple not-for-profit boards as a Treasurer, Board Member, and volunteer finance committee member.

Jamie and his wife (Abigail) live in East Chattanooga with their three sons (Obed, Benaiah, and Matthias) and daughter (Selah Faith).  They attend Woodland Park Baptist Church.  In his free time you can find Jamie gardening, climbing, hiking, running, paddle boarding or doing just about anything else as long as it is outside.
