If you are wondering which training to take, consider your life situation and ministry goals. Are you thinking about pursuing full-time studies at a four-year college or do you want to enhance your existing ministry skills and learn new ministry strategies and programs? Here is a review of each program:
The undergraduate community development major offered by Covenant College:
- Is intended for those pursuing full-time undergraduate studies, typically young adults, ages 18-23.
- Is delivered through a traditional four-year undergraduate college program taught onsite at the college’s location in Lookout Mountain, GA, USA (minutes from Chattanooga, Tennessee, USA).
- Issues an accredited, four-year, Bachelor of Arts degree.
The economic development ministry training offered by the Chalmers Center:
- Is intended for pastors and ministry leader, typically those out of school and already in their ministry role (or about to enter into it).
- Is delivered through distance learning courses, 5-day training conferences held throughout the world, and self-study material.
- Issues course completion certificates but does not offer professional training certification or academic credit.
