Course #4:
Partnering with Large-Scale Microfinance Institutions


Course Description
This course helps churches, missionaries, and ministries understand large-scale providers (microfinance institutions and microenterprise development programs) and develop effective partnerships with them to empower poor people in their communities. It is a skills-based course that provides practical tools and knowledge for ministry.

Prerequisite: Course #2, Principles and Practices of Christian Microfinance and Microenterprise Development

Format: Classroom-style training featuring lecture/presentation, group discussion, skits, and simulation/role play. Learn More »

Length: 3½ days (Note: This is an elective course taught simultaneously with courses #3 and #5 on
Days 3 - 6 of a CEDI. Participants select their elective course during the CEDI.)

Note: A CEDI offers multiple Chalmers Center courses during a single 5½ day period. Participants register to attend the entire CEDI training event, not just this individual course.
